The event introduced the model of the Sustainable Tourism Vocational Training Center - a facility that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical training, based on principles of plastic waste reduction, environmental protection, and sustainable tourism development.

The Center serves as a space to showcase best practices in plastic-reducing tourism for students and the wider community. It features demonstrations of alternative materials to plastic used in tourism, sustainable tourism operation procedures, vocational training programs in sustainable tourism, and plastic-reducing tour models. Furthermore, it acts as a connecting hub for businesses, educational institutions, and stakeholders to jointly develop a green, environmentally friendly, and sustainable tourism system in the city.

This marks a significant milestone in the development journey of Hue Tourism College towards green education, plastic reduction, and sustainability.

As part of the event, the College signed cooperation agreements with wards and communes across Hue City, as well as with Hue Monuments Conservation Center. These partnerships aim to foster mutual support and knowledge sharing, linking sustainable tourism development with the conservation and promotion of Hue's cultural heritage values. At the same time, the College signed agreements with localities to promote community-based tourism, preserve cultural heritage and local identity, and implement vocational training programs tailored to actual needs - such as rural vocational training and community capacity building.

The ceremony also featured the introduction of a one-day plastic-reducing tour developed by Hue City Travel Association, along with practical experience activities such as a “Low-Waste, Low-Plastic Cooking Class”, which focuses on utilizing ingredients that are often discarded. Through this event, Hue Tourism College reaffirmed its commitment to continue accompanying the TVA Project in expanding, sustaining, and promoting the effectiveness of the sustainable tourism training model, contributing to Hue’s development as a green and environmentally friendly destination.
