This activity was organized by the Fatherland Front and political-social organizations in An Dong ward, Hue city, on the morning of August 10th at Alley 27, Hoang Quoc Viet street.

On the morning of August 8th, at the University of Arts, members of the Thua Thien Hue Fine Arts Association transported 66 artworks to Thanh Hoa province to participate in the zone IV Fine-Art Exhibition (Northern Central Vietnam) 2024.

About 40km north of Hue City, Phuoc Tich ancient village is located in Phong Hoa commune, Phong Dien district. This is the second village in Vietnam to be recognized as a National Artistic Architectural Monument in 2009.

“I have written about everything from the rustic to the elegant aspects of Hue with all my heart, so that readers, once they have loved Hue, will love Hue even more,” shared Ms. Hoang Thi Tho, a journalist, about her two upcoming books, “Remember to visit Hue tomorrow” and “Please go from childhood.”

On July 17, within the framework of a working trip to Thua Thien Hue province, the delegation of Khanh Hoa province, led by Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh, the Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, visited the Intelligent Operations Center (IOC) and worked with the Department of Information and Communication of Thua Thien Hue on digital transformation and smart urban development.

This message was conveyed to readers by Hoang Thi Tho, the author, at the launch of her two books titled “Ngay mai nho Hue ve tham Hue” (“Tomorrow, when you miss Hue, then come and visit Hue”) and “Xin di tu tho au” (“Travelling from the childhood”) (Thuan Hoa Publishing House), on the morning of June 23 at the headquarters of Thua Thien Hue Journalists Association (22B Le Loi Street, Hue City).

The collection of essays and notes "Truoc nha co cay hoang mai: Nhung ghi chep ve Hue - xu so phong reu kieu sa" after more than 8 years appearing in the literary world has now been reprinted, with additions and revisions. More notably, in this reprint, there is also an English edition “Yellow Apricot tree in the front yard: Fascinating stories about Hue - an ancient, poetic and glamorous land”.

The Vietnam - Japan cultural exchange program, with the participation of hundreds of students from Japan and Hue, was organized on the morning of March 28 at 16 Lam Hoang, Hue City by the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association in Thua Thien Hue province.

Upon contemplating the city in the brushstrokes of artist Hoang Dang Khanh, viewers seem to immerse themselves in many different emotions, ranging from peacefulness, romance, desolation, strangeness, sometimes solitariness and loneliness. This artist from Hue seems tireless after many years of pursuing the city theme. As for him, those city quarters not only nourished his soul but also gave him mixed memories of joy and sadness.

Prof, Dr. Hoang Thi Thai Hoa, Head of the Department of Agronomy, University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, who has made many contributions to science over the past 28 years, has just received the 2023 Kovalevskaia Award.
