Concerns about losing the “green” image of the heritage-rich ancient capital were prevalent when Thua Thien Hue province began developing industrial and economic zones (IZs and EZs) decades ago. However, through the province’s meticulous selection process, many of these zones have flourished, proving the right direction and significantly contributing to job creation and socio-economic development.

In celebration of Hue Festival 2024, on June 8th, Hue artists and Hue lovers will gather at Kim Long Orchard to display paintings under the theme "A Stroll Through the Hue Garden." This stroll will be adorned with 39 paintings by 7 artists, depicting steps through multicolored gardens, with stories that resonate with the hues of the sun and wind in the green garden, and the intimate conversations of leaves and flowers in the Hue gardens, both tranquil and lively...

Since the establishment in 2019 with the initial 80 members, the Green Wind Choir has now gathered nearly 200 members from 6 to 86 years old. This is the first community choir to organize its own choral concert, which has become an annual event and been eagerly awaited by audiences. Notably, the Green Wind Choir always reserves hundreds of seats for special guests, who are teenagers in difficult circumstances from social protection centers.

In the green space of Da:me space coffee, an offline event with the theme "Ánh sáng kinh đô" (Capital City Light) for both professional and amateur photographers from Hue took place. On the morning of February 4th, at Trinh Cong Son Park, the People's Committee of Hue City organized the announcement ceremony for the ASEAN Clean Tourist City Awards 2024 and launched the Green Sunday event across the entire city.
