On October 28th and 29th, the Department of Education and Training held a training course at Quoc Hoc-Hue High School for the Gifted for 226 primary school teachers and education managers across the city, focusing on physical education, safe swimming instruction and drowning prevention.

The Department of Education and Training has just announced the results of the City-level High School Excellent Student Selection Exam for the academic year 2026 - 2027, with 1,326 students winning prizes, including 17 First prizes.

On the morning of October 10, Hue City Police, in coordination with the University of Law, Hue University, and the Department of Education and Training, held the launch ceremony for the ‘Not Alone’ 2026 campaign under the message ‘Connect Without Harm’. The campaign aims to raise awareness, equip students with skills, and build a support network to protect them from online safety risks.

On October 9, the Department of Education and Training held the City-level High School Excellent Student Selection Exam for the academic year 2026 - 2027 at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, with the participation of 3,025 students.

On the morning of October 3rd, Hue City Department of Education and Training opened the 2026 Pickleball Tournament at Hue Industrial College in response to Vietnam Labor Skills Day (October 4th). The tournament attracted 161 athletes from 34 agencies, units, schools and businesses.

On the afternoon of October 2, at Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted, the Department of Education and Training held a signing ceremony on cooperation with the University of Foreign Languages, Hue University, and launched a Chinese language teaching program in schools for the 2026-2027 academic year.

At a workshop on ‘Promoting Vocational Education Development in Line with Business Needs’, organized by Hue City Department of Education and Training on the afternoon of October 2nd, delegates proposed a range of solutions to strengthen cooperation between government agencies, training institutions and businesses, with the aim of aligning workforce training more closely with labor market needs. The workshop was held in response to Vietnam Labor Skills Day (October 4th).

On the afternoon of September 29, the Department of Education and Training met with Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted to review preparations for the ceremony celebrating the school’s 130th anniversary (1896-2026), scheduled for October 2026. Representatives of relevant departments and agencies also attended the meeting.

On the afternoon of September 26, at Le Duc Anh Secondary School (Chan May - Lang Co Commune), the For Highland and Island Youth Fund and the ‘For Beloved Hoang Sa - Truong Sa’ Club, in coordination with Hue City Department of Education and Training, held a ceremony to award scholarships for the 2026 - 2027 academic year to ethnic minority students and students in coastal and island areas across the city.

On the afternoon of September 22nd, Thien Tam Fund (Vingroup), in coordination with Hue City Department of Education and Training, donated computer sets to schools in disadvantaged areas. The activity was carried out as part of the programme ‘Providing Computers for Information Technology and Technology Education for Students’. ​
