On the evening of July 8th, Hue City Tourism Association held a gathering to mark the 65th anniversary of the traditional day of Vietnam’s tourism sector (July 9th, 1960 – July 9th, 2025).

On July 8, the Traffic Police Department, Hue City Police reported that a task force from the unit had just used a specialized vehicle to promptly transport a young girl to the hospital.

The contributions and legacy of Diem Phung Thi - a sculptor, have left a profound impact on the global sculpting scene. Hue is fortunate that she chose to return and spend the rest of her life here, ultimately donating her artistic legacy to the city. Hue City’s Department of Culture and Sports announced that the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism has decided to add two heritages in Hue to the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list.

On July 3, the project “Hue - A Plastic Reduction City in Central Vietnam”, funded by WWF-Norway, in collaboration with Co.op Mart Hue (Saigon Co.op), GO! Hue (Central Retail Vietnam), and AEON Hue (AEON Vietnam) organized the event “No Plastic Bag Month” 2025.

On the morning of July 3rd, Hue City Blind Association (HCBA) held a mid-year review conference to assess its activities during the first six months of 2025, outline tasks for the second half of the year, and review the five-year implementation of the 2021-2025 support program for people with disabilities (PWDs).

In just the first two days (July 1st – 2nd) of implementing the two-tier local government model, over 846 applications were received at 40 Public Administrative Service Centers at the ward and commune levels in Hue City. The dedication of civil servants and volunteers, along with the application of technology, has made a positive impression, helping residents quickly adapt to the administrative procedures under the new two-tier local government system.
