On the morning of April 24th, the city’s Women’s Union, in coordination with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Federal Republic of Germany), organized a workshop titled “Integrating Gender Equality into Commune Level Socio-Economic Development Planning”.

On the evening of April 24, Hue City Intelligent Operations Center (HueIOC) held a ceremony to mark its 20th anniversary of establishment and development (April 27, 2006 - April 27, 2026).

From April 22 to 24, the Zhi Shan Foundation, in collaboration with the Social Work and Child Protection Center, and local authorities, organized scholarship award ceremonies for studious students overcoming difficulties across the city.

On April 24, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang had a courtesy meeting with Mr. Franch Bolgiani, Cultural Attaché of the French Embassy in Vietnam, Deputy Director of the French Institute in Hanoi, on the occasion of his delegation’s visit and working trip to Hue City.

On the morning of April 23rd, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Tran Huu Thuy Giang held a working session with Thanh Thuy Ward on the implementation of tourism and service projects in the area. The meeting was attended by representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities. ​

On the afternoon of April 23, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, and Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee, along with representatives from relevant departments and sectors, received and held a working session with a delegation from the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Mr. Alexander Dmitrievich Sidoruk, Consul General.

On April 23, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Manh paid a visit and held a working meeting with some local businesses regarding the dispatch of workers to overseas employment under contract. Attending the delegation were representatives of relevant departments and sectors.

On April 22, the project “Hue - A plastic-reduced smart city in Central Vietnam” project (TVA project), in collaboration with the City Department of Education and Training, organized the award ceremony and closing event for the “Global citizens, leading plastic reduction” contest.

On April 22, the Zhishan Foundation, the City Social Work and Child Protection Center, in collaboration with the Phong Dien Ward People's Committee, organized the first-round scholarship awarding ceremony in 2026 for poor students overcoming difficulties in Phong Dien, Phong Thai, Phong Dinh, Phong Phu, and Phong Quang wards.

With the theme “Echoes of Books - Resonance of Heritage” a contest exploring the Hue Bookcase, jointly organized by the Hue City Department of Culture and Sports, Hue Institute for Development Studies, and the Institute of Digital Transformation and Learning Resources (Hue University), will take place from April 22 to May 25.
