On the afternoon of March 5th, Hue City People's Committee held its regular press conference for February 2026. The event was chaired by Chief of the Office of the City People’s Committee Hoang Viet Cuong; Deputy Director of the Department of Finance Tran Cong Thich Vuong; and Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Huy Hien. ​

On the afternoon of March 5th, a working delegation from the Standing Board of the City Party Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of Hue City Party Committee, visited and held a working session at Carlsberg Vietnam in Phu Bai. On the morning of March 3, Vietnam Haiku Poetry Club - Hue Ancient Capital Chapter held a gathering and poetry-music exchange to mark the 24th anniversary of Vietnam Poetry Day and celebrate International Women’s Day (March 8).

On the afternoon of March 2, Hue City Department of Construction announced that the Chairman of the City People's Committee has approved the investment policy for the reconstruction of Thanh Ha Bridge (Km 7+810, Provincial Road 4), in Hoa Chau Ward, with a total investment of nearly 125 billion VND.

The excited chatter of children in the corner of the house does not make Mrs Ton Nu Minh Trang miss a beat as she gently shakes the tray of cakes. She smiles knowingly: “They’ll break everything if they rush around! Making phuc linh cakes can’t be hurried or done carelessly!”

Amid the complex developments of the Nipah virus outbreak, on the morning of February 24th, when the international cruise ship Adora Mediterranea docked at Chan May Port, the international health quarantine force under Hue Center for Disease Control (CDC Hue) implemented monitoring and inspection procedures to ensure epidemic prevention and control.

On February 24, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Quang Dien Commune, in coordination with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center of Hue Central Hospital, organized the 2026 Xuan Hong (Spring of Red) Festival with the theme “Donate a drop of blood - Give life a chance”.
