On June 6, the Vietnam Society of Hypertension, in collaboration with the Hue Society of Cardiology, launched the May Measurement Month (MMM) 2026 campaign and donated medical equipment to primary healthcare facilities.

Hue City is the urban area with the highest density of trees in the country, with more than 64,000 trees lining its streets, parks, and lush green garden houses. These trees are cared for and protected by both local authorities and residents, beautifying the city while serving as a natural shield that brings a refreshing sense of coolness during the scorching summer heat.

On June 5, the University of Education, Hue University, organized a graduation ceremony, conferring doctoral degrees on 5 researchers who completed their PhD studies and master’s degrees on 289 students who fulfilled the requirements of their master’s programs. Hue Ao Dai Week 2026, featuring a series of cultural, artistic, and community activities to honor the values of Vietnam’s traditional Ao-dai and reaffirm the brand of “Hue - The Capital of Ao Dai”, will take place from July 3 to 10.

On the morning of June 3rd, Hue City Department of Health and the city Farmers' Association held a signing ceremony for a cooperation program for the 2026 - 2030 period aimed at strengthening communication and advocacy efforts to encourage farmer members to participate in protecting, caring for, and improving community health. ​

What few people know is that the person behind the film's music, touching the hearts of millions of viewers, is musician Cao Dinh Thang - a young man born and raised in Hue.

On June 2nd, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Care for Children organization, held a working session on the implementation of a project to strengthen family-based alternative care for children in special circumstances during the 2026 - 2028 period in Hue. The program is expected to help improve the effectiveness of child protection and care efforts, enabling children to live in safe, stable, and loving family environments.

On May 31 (the 15th day of the fourth lunar month), the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) in Hue City solemnly held the Grand Vesak Celebration, Buddhist Calendar 2570 at the Executive Board’s headquarters - Tu Dam Pagoda (Thuan Hoa Ward), in the joyful presence of thousands of monks, nuns, Buddhists, and people from near and far.
