Responding to the World Environment Day (June 5) with the theme “Solution for Plastic Waste”, the International Day of Biodiversity and the Month of Action for the Environment 2023, on the morning of June 4, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment coordinated with the People’s Committee of Phu Loc district, Thach Son Fisheries Association (Loc Dien, Phu Loc), etc., to release 80.000 fingerlings of tiger prawns and over 14.000 rabbitfishes into the Da Dam and Da Mieu fisheries conservation areas belonging to Tam Giang – Cau Hai Lagoon.

That is the affirmation of Mr. Nguyen van Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee in an interview with Thua Thien Hue Weekly about the Thua Thien Hue Urban Master Plan to 2045, with a vision to 2065 (UMP).

Within the framework of the 2023 Local Promotion Program in Japan organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province, Mr. Phan Quy Phuong, had a visit and working session in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.

On the morning of May 29, Hue Festival Center said that within the framework of the Summer Festival of Hue Festival 2023, the International Kite Festival 2023 would take place from June 3 - 9, with the participation of many Southeast Asian countries.

On May 28, World Wide Fund for Nature in Vietnam (WWF-Vietnam) coordinated with Thua Thien Hue Startup and Innovation Center held a final round of the contest “Hue plastic waste reduction initiatives 2023”.
