The 1st National Student Taekwondo Championship will be held right on Hue land, scheduled from March 24 to 28, by the Vietnam Taekwondo Federation in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training. The championship especially has both movement and advanced systems. This is the first time the championship has been held on a national scale, and Hue is the first host province

Hai Van Gate is known as "world’s most majestic gate", located at an altitude of nearly 500m right at the top of Hai Van Pass. Once served as the military defense for the Hue Citadel, this defensive cluster was built under the Nguyen Dynasty in such a critical position to control the North-South road and Da Nang Bay.

On the morning of June 12, the Tourism Department informed that Hue Lotus Festival 2023 with the theme “Lotus colorizes Hue” will be held from June 23 to 26 at Tinh Tam Lake.

On the evening of June 10th, the Song Huong (Perfume River) Magazine launched a poetry and painting performance program titled “Perfume River - A River of Poetry” to commemorate its 40th anniversary since its establishment and first issue (June 1983 - June 2023).

Born and raised in a poor working family, Le Minh Vu, a young man born in 2000, fell in love with Hue Singing (Ca Hue) from a very early age. On June 8th, Hue Royal Antiquities Museum held a ceremony to present archival materials to the museum. This activity is part of the 100th anniversary celebration of the establishment of Musée Khai Dinh, currently known as the Hue Royal Antiquities Museum (1923-2023).

As a regular blood donor, I was also startled when I heard that Truong Thi Huyen Trang had 40 blood donations in just 6 years of studying at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University. The 24-year-old female student is always happy when someone mentions blood donation by answering: “As long as I am healthy, I will still donate blood".
