Alley 27 of Hoang Quoc Viet street is recognized by the city as part of the smart mass mobilization movement, where residents have actively participated in contributing to the building of a “civilized - friendly - safe - rich in identity” Hue city.

From July 21st to August 10th, 2024, the Fatherland Front and various political-social organizations in An Dong Ward, in collaboration with the project “Hue - A plastic waste-reduced urban area in Central Vietnam,” implemented the “Mural Art” model to promote environmental protection and waste sorting at the source.

The mural cost over 25 million VND, as well as numerous volunteer hours from union members and other participants. The project serves as a message to encourage and raise awareness among the people about environmental protection, preservation of the common landscape to contribute to a brighter, greener, cleaner, and more beautiful environment. Following the success of this street, An Dong Ward plans to expand the initiative to other alleys in the area.
