According to the report of 2024 Provincial Competitiveness Index (PCI) released by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) recently, Hue City made a strong impression by entering the top 10 localities with the best economic governance quality in the country, scoring a total of 71.13 points, ranking 6th out of 63 provinces and cities.

From May 4 to 13, Vietnam National Authority of Tourism (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) is coordinating with the People's Committee of Hue City, Tourism Development Support Fund, Vietnam Airlines, and partners to organize a program introducing Vietnamese tourism, traditional craft villages, and cuisine, and connecting businesses on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025 in three European countries, including Italy, Switzerland, and France.

From April 11th - 16th, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) and Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City Quality Association, returned to Hue for a week to devote to education and local enterprises.
