Hue City to launch "Green Sunday" project on January 20

Green transition requires businesses to accept higher upfront costs and change the way they operate. On the morning of July 25, the Department of Education and Training held a working session with schools and local authorities on preparations for launching the boarding inter-level schools in A Luoi 3 and A Luoi 4 communes, to ensure conditions are in place for teaching, student care and support from the beginning of the new academic year.

On July 25, the Youth Union of the University of Medicine & Pharmacy, Hue University, held the launch ceremony for the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign, drawing the participation of over 300 youth union members and student volunteers.

By preserving Co Tu cultural traditions in everyday life and integrating indigenous values into visitor experiences, residents of Doi Village have carved out a distinctive path for community-based tourism in the western area of Hue City. The village is gradually emerging as a favorite destination for travelers seeking community-based tourism activities in Khe Tre highland area.

On the afternoon of May 8th, the Standing Committee of Hue City Party Committee held a working session with a delegation from the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), led by Prof. Dr. Tran Hong Thai, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission, and President of VAST, to assess the implementation results of the 2025–2030 science and technology cooperation agreement between the two parties.
