Creating opportunities for people with disabilities

On the evening of May 15, the Department of Finance, in collaboration with the City Young Business Association, and Soc do Joint Stock Company - socsdo.vn e-commerce platform, organized a program titled “Unlocking Revenue Growth with Zalo - AI - CRM Ecosystem”. The program attracted the participation of over 100 businesses and household enterprises in the area.

Thanks to AI training programs integrated with sales skills, content creation, and the use of digital tools, the lives of many visually impaired individuals have improved significantly. From having limited access to technology, they are gradually mastering digital tools, improving their livelihoods, and confidently participating in the digital economy.

On the morning of April 17, Hue City Fisheries Association officially launched a project titled “Green Fisheries - A Circular Economic Initiative Led by Women in the Fisheries Sector in Hue City” (HUEFIS). The project aims to address the challenges related to gender inequality, environmental protection, and foster the sustainable development of the fisheries sector in Hue City’s coastal and lagoon localities.

On the morning of March 25, Hue Tourism College (under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism) held its graduation ceremony in 2026.

Hue’s elevation to a centrally-governed municipality from early 2025 has taken place in a special context: the country is undergoing a major administrative restructuring, reducing the number of provinces and cities from 63 to 34. While 52 other localities are expanding through mergers, Hue has chosen a different path - no consolidation, no expansion by aggregation, but an upgrade built on its existing identity and structural foundation.
