Sports Festival celebrating 80th anniversary of People's Public Security Staff Force Traditional Day

This year’s festival features more than 150 athletes from the city police departments within the Emulation Group No. 2, including Hue City, Da Nang City, and Can Tho City. They represent the core and exemplary force of the physical training and sports movement within their units. They are brave and creative staff officers, with strong determination not only in their professional duties, but also on playing fields.

At the sports festival, athletes will compete in four sports: football, badminton, table tennis, and pickleball.

Colonel Duong Van Thoan, Deputy Director of Hue City Police, emphasized that this sports festival aims to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, encourage the movement to promote physical training and improve health among officers and soldiers of the Staff Force; strengthen the solidarity, exchange, and experience sharing among the police departments of cities in the Emulation Group No. 2; and select the best football team and outstanding athletes to compete in the final round of the People's Public Security Staff Force Sports Festival.

The festival is taking place over three days, from December 23 to 25, 2025.
