According to Mr. Bui Thanh Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, in addition to providing an opportunity for athletes to gain experience and demonstrate their capabilities, the tournament also serves as a venue for discovering and selecting outstanding athletes to receive focused investment and training in preparation for the National Sports Games in Ho Chi Minh City at the end of 2026, as well as upcoming regional and international competitions.
