The remote temperature screening systems are used to measure human body temperature; thus, strict adherence to regular cleaning, maintenance, and operation is required to ensure the devices’ safety and accuracy.
After inspection and maintenance, both systems are operating effectively, accurately detecting human body temperatures and ensuring effective health quarantine procedures at the airport.
Earlier, in January 2025, Hue CDC received and began operating two automatic infrared remote body temperature screening systems at Phu Bai International Airport.
These systems are capable of simultaneously screening the body temperature of 25 - 30 passengers within a range of 5- 6 meters using infrared cameras and temperature detection software. This equipment is especially useful for fast, accurate, and large-scale temperature screening in border gate and seaport areas.
In 2024, Hue CDC’s quarantine efforts included monitoring 210 ships, 12 aircrafts, 450 cars, and other vehicles as regulated.
