High-altitude fireworks lit up the sky in a Lunar New Year

This information was informed by the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports on December 30.

Accordingly, 1,000 shots of fireworks will be lit up the sky in Hue City, while 500 shots of fireworks each will be set for Phong Dien District and Phu Loc District. The firework displays are funded from the socialization sources. The organizing plan is assigned to the Provincial Military Command.

Besides, the Provincial Department of Culture and Sports added that during the Lunar New Year of the Cat, many programs and activities to celebrate the Party and the Year of the Cat will be held, including: the New Year's Eve Cultural Program at Quoc Hoc Memorial Stele, scheduled on the evening of the January 21, 2023; art performances in the lobby of the Provincial Cinema and Culture Center, scheduled in the evenings of January 22 to 23, 2023 (on the first and the second days of the Lunar New Year); while museums will be opened free of charge to the people from January 22 to 24, 2023 (from the first to the third days of the Lunar New Year); along with the organization of the film week to celebrate the Party and The Year of the Cat, there are the Huyen Tran Temple Festival, the Spring Flower Festival, and the Vietnamese Lunar New Year program, etc.

In addition, on this occasion, many cultural activities, folk games, and sports activities will also be held in districts, towns and Hue City.
