After the course, trainees will teach swimming to more than 1.000 students in the city

During the training course, participants are instructed and equipped with improved knowledge and skills in swimming, diving, lifesaving, and drowning prevention. They will then teach swimming to over 1.000 students in the city, particularly in low-lying areas such as Quang Dien, Phong Dien, Huong Thuy, and Huong Tra.

According to the organizers, this activity is part of the implementation of the National Safe Swimming and Child Drowning Prevention Program for the 2021-2030 period by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hue City People’s Committee, and the 2025 Safe Swimming and Child Drowning Prevention Program in the city.

“This training course not only helps instructors improve their swimming skills but also equips them with effective teaching methods to guide children in avoiding and handling drowning situations. It provides children with a solid foundation in swimming and water safety skills, ultimately helping to reduce the drowning rate in the city,” shared Ms. Le Thi Anh Dao, Project Manager at Hue Help - Hue.
