The swimming pool to help prevent students from drowning at Phu Xuan Secondary School project was built with a total cost of over 1.5 billion VND from the budget of the locality and the “Enhancing Community Capacity” project. It includes the construction of a swimming pool, a floor frame, and a protective dome system. The pool is 6.6 meters wide and 15.6 meters long. It is fully equipped and installed with water treatment system, ensuring immediate use after handover. The technical specifications of the swimming pool meet the requirements of the swimming curriculum in the school.

The swimming pool to help prevent students from drowning at Phu Xuan Secondary School is the third swimming pool built in Phu Vang district. The investment in building swimming pools helps students access and practice swimming skills to prevent drowning in the coming time, contributing to reducing child fatalities due to drowning, as well as increasing the percentage of children who can swim in the District.

On the same day, the Office of Education and Training of Phu Vang District also launched a swimming course for nearly 500 students from Phu Xuan, Phu Ho, and Phu An communes at two swimming pools of Phu Xuan Secondary School and Phu An 1 Primary School.
