Free cardiovascular disease screening for 600 residents

Hue City is speeding up the implementation of its free periodic health checkup and screening program for all residents. This is not merely an administrative task, but also an important shift in healthcare, from treating illnesses after they occur to actively preventing diseases, detecting health problems early and managing each resident’s health over the long term.

On the morning of September 26, Hue Central Hospital, in coordination with the city’s Cancer Association, organized a free health checkup and cancer screening program for 300 residents in Phong Phu ward.

On the morning of August 30, over 4,500 delegates and residents gathered at the Hue City Culture and Sports Square to take part in the “Together with Vietnam, Moving Forward” walking program. The event shared the same atmosphere of excitement, enthusiasm, and solemnity with 34 provinces and cities nationwide, spreading the message ‘10 Billion Green Steps - For a Sustainable Vietnam’ and promoting the spirit of national solidarity.

According to the information released on the morning of August 26 by the People’s Committee of Dan Dien Commune, the locality provided financial support worth over VND 1.4 billion for locals to purchase 8 straw balers to facilitate the collection of crop residues during the 2026 summer-autumn rice harvest.

On August 6th, Quang Dien Commune Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee, in coordination with Hue Central Hospital Blood Transfusion and Hematology Center, organized the second voluntary blood donation campaign of 2026.
