Handing of the funding of 160 million VND to the housing construction for poor fishermen program

The “Safety for Poor and Disadvantaged Fishermen” program is being implemented during the 2022 - 2027 period, aiming to support the construction of durable housing, thereby helping residents stabilize their lives, feel secure in going to sea, and develop their household economies.

In this phase, two households are supported with housing construction at 80 million VND per household. The funding is sponsored by the Red Cross Society of Dong Nai Province, aiming to assist coastal fishing families in securing safe and resilient housing against natural disasters and storms, gradually stabilizing their long-term living conditions. Immediately after the ceremony, construction units began working, striving to ensure both progress and quality so that the houses can be soon handed over for use.

The ceremony marks an important milestone, reflecting the attention and joint efforts of authorities at all levels, sectors, organizations, and sponsors in caring for disadvantaged communities.
