On behalf of the VBS Executive Board of the City, Most Venerable Thich Khe Chon, Head of the Executive Board, expressed sincere gratitude to the city leaders and relevant departments for their continued support and favorable conditions that have enabled the Sangha to fulfill its Buddhist duties successfully. The Most Venerable affirmed that monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers will continue promoting the tradition of solidarity and national unity, while actively participating in patriotic emulation movements to contribute to the city’s further development.
On the same day, Mr. Nguyen Chi Tai, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, visited prominent Buddhist dignitaries, including Most Venerable Thich Khe Chon (Thien Minh Pagoda), and Most Venerable Thich Giac Quang (Bao Lam Pagoda), on the occasion of Vesak.
