At the meeting, General Director Andrew Khan of Carlsberg Vietnam Trading Co., Ltd. expressed his sincere appreciation for the close companionship and active support that Hue City has provided to the company throughout its operations in the locality.

Mr. Andrew Khan stated that Carlsberg Vietnam considers the Central region a strategic investment area, with Phu Bai Brewery playing a particularly important role. The brewery is gradually realizing key sustainable development goals, including: achieving zero landfill waste by the end of 2025; 100% of reusable or recyclable packaging for all bottled, canned, and keg products by 2026; and reaching net-zero emissions in production by 2028. Carlsberg Vietnam expressed its desire to continue receiving the attention, companionship, and support of Hue City throughout its investment and production–business activities, as well as in the implementation of community, cultural, and sports programs in the locality.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Khac Toan acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive and long-term contributions of Carlsberg Vietnam. Hue City has always regarded Carlsberg Vietnam as a “great friend” and an important partner in its development journey, especially in the context of Hue becoming a centrally governed city, with a development orientation toward green growth, a circular economy, and sustainability.

The Chairman of Hue City People’s Committee commits to continue accompanying and creating favourable opportunities for businesses within the legal framework, improving the investment and business environment, and promptly addressing difficulties and obstacles so that Carlsberg Vietnam can focus on stable and long-term investment and production in the area. He also hoped that Carlsberg Vietnam would continue to expand its reach, helping to spread brand values associated with the spirit of “Deeply Rooted in the Central Region - Reaching the World”, while accompanying Hue City on its new development path.
