Awarding the student winning the Silver Medal at the International Biology Olympiad

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented a certificate of merit to Truong Van Quoc Dat, a 12th grader at Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, who won Silver Medal at the International Biology Olympiad in 2022, and to the team of teachers participated in fostering biology for Dat.
Speaking at the meeting, the provincial leader thanked the School Administrator and the teachers of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, as well as the education and training sector for training a generation of talented and excellent students. At the same time, he hoped that the teachers and students of the school would continue to promote the results achieved, strive constantly to gain more greater achievements, contribute to honoring the tradition of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted and the homeland of Thua Thien Hue.
This is the third time that the students of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted participated in the International Biology Olympiad. They all ranked first in the Vietnamese biology team.
Winning the Silver Medal at the International Biology Olympiad in 2022 is the first success for the studious student. With the desire to become a doctor, Truong Van Quoc Dat enrolled in Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy to continue pursuing his dream.
