Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted receives Certificate of Merit for international Olympiad achievements

MOET awarding Certificates of Merit to schools

At the ceremony, MOET's Minister signed decisions to award Certificates of Merit to students, teachers, schools, and organizations that made outstanding contributions to these achievements in 2024.

Quoc Hoc - Hue High School for the Gifted was recognized with a Certificate of Merit for its excellence in training, teaching, mentoring, and leading students to achieve success in international subject Olympiads and science and technology competitions in 2024.

Additionally, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Hanh, Head of the Biology Department at Quoc Hoc – Hue High School, received a Certificate of Merit for her exceptional contributions to organizing, teaching, mentoring, and guiding students to win prizes at international Olympiads and science and technology competitions.

Ms. Hanh was the one who meticulously planned the training for the national team of outstanding students, assessed and categorized them through evaluation tests, and formed the teams early to provide extended preparation. She was also directly involved in mentoring the team, focusing on enhancing students' critical thinking skills, effective study methods, and fostering a love and passion for biology among her students.

In the 2023–2024 academic year, Quoc Hoc - Hue High School’s student Ho Duc Trung, specializing in Biology, won a Silver Medal at the International Biology Olympiad. In recognition of his achievement, Trung was also awarded the Third-Class Labor Order by the President of Vietnam.
