Quoc Hoc gifted High school’s student wins the Gold medal of international biology Olympiad 2017

Viet Nam international biology Olympiad team win the best achievement up to now.

At international biology Olympiad 2017 taking place at the University of Warwick, Coventry, United Kingdom, Truong Dong Hung - 12th grade student of Quoc Hoc Hue gifted high school, Thua Thien Hue province, had the honor of winning the gold medal. Duong Tien Quang Huy - 12th grade student of Lam Son gifted high school, Thanh Hoa province and Nguyen Phuong Thao, 11th grade student of Natural science gifted high school, Ha Noi National University all won silver medals. 

The 28th international biology Olympiad competition was held in London, the United Kingdom, with the participation of 245 candidates from 68 nations and territories, and 4 invigilators.

Viet Nam together with the United States, Taiwan, China, Singapore, Korea, Russia, Britain, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, New Zealand, Indonesia and the Czech Republic won gold medals and ranked 12th out of 68 countries and territories.
