Turning Hue Singing into a special cultural tourism product

HNN.VN - According to the project “Promoting the values of Hue Singing and building it into a special cultural tourism product in the period 2021 - 2025”, which has just been approved by the Provincial People’s Committee, many concrete goals and solutions are set out to enhance the quality, heading to the establishment of Hue Singing’s brand name, preserving and promoting the artistic heritage value of Hue Singing in association with sustainable tourism development.

The project will build up and promulgate a sample program of performing Hue Singing, ensuring the typical characteristics of Hue Singing; research to form the performing places and spaces of Hue Singing to serve tourism. In the short term, it strives to the year 2022 putting into operation the Hue Singing space at No. 148 Bui Thi Xuan street; Chau Huong Vien, and at Dong Ba theater.

The infrastructure serving Hue Singing performance on the Huong River will be also invested, at the same time, the system of means and tools to support the promotion of Hue Singing through Hue Singing apps and publications will be constructed; cultural and souvenir products to serve tourism will be formed; surveys and verifying Hue Singing quality for singers and instrumentalists will be carried out.

The project also specifies 8 main groups of solutions to promote the values and build Hue into a special cultural tourism product in the period of 2021 – 2025 such as building products, constructing infrastructure and developing Hue Singing performance space; training and fostering Hue Singing human resources; propagating and promoting artistic heritage values of Hue Singing to serve tourism; etc.
