Supporting tourism enterprises amid COVID-19 pandemic

HNN.VN - The Ministry of Finance has just issued a Circular stipulating changes to a number of fees and charges to support those affected by the COVID-19 epidemic through this difficult time.

Accordingly, in the tourism sector, the Circular stipulates a 50% reduction in the issuance fee for international travel and domestic travel permits and tour guide cards until the end of December 31st, 2021.

Specifically, the issuance fee for international and domestic travel service business license is 3 million VND/license; renewal at 2 million VND/license and re-issuance at 1.5 million VND/license.

The fee for validation and issuance of tour guide cards, including new, renewed and re-issued cards, will be 650,000 VND/card for international and domestic tour guides and 200,000 VND/card for on-site tour guides.

Currently, the province has 72 tour operators, travel agencies and offices, including 44 international and 23 domestic tour operators, and more than 2,800 tour guides with validated cards.
