This year's spring festival, themed "The essence of heaven and earth - The transformation and breakthrough", is taking place from February 3 - 14, 2024 (from the 24th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Cat to the 5th day of the Lunar New Year of the Dragon) in a large and impressive space. Within the framework of the spring festival, visitors and locals will immerse themselves in a space with flowers, ornamental rocks, rockery, calligraphy carved on wood, and unique trees bent by artisans from eight ornamental animal associations in the city, and 65 artisans joining in the exhibition and competition.

Locals were visiting the space displaying all kinds of ornamental trees, miniature trees, and bonsai trees

To prepare for the Spring Festival 2024, the Vietnam August Star Joint Stock Company (AGS) has designed the entire exhibition space in a large and creative manner. Specifically, there are more than 342,000 flower plants of all kinds in the parks, and green spots and 160 flower baskets on the main roads of the city; especially, there is a "Flower Park", which is arranged in a large space stretching along the Huong River and concentrated in points such as the park space along Le Loi Street, Da Vien Islet, and Thuong Bac Park, etc.

Ly Tu Trong Park will be the center of the Spring Festival space. In addition to the artistic flower carpets and the flower trains, the symbolic models of the Year of the Dragon, including the reenactment of dragon boat racing on the Huong River, the model of two dragons flanking the moon to symbolize the development of the country and the province, are combined with hundreds of blooming flowers in dragon shape bearing the meaning of bringing peace at the beginning of the new year; or, the dragon in front of the Provincial People's Committee area is created with the shape of dragon flying into the sky to represent a year of development and breakthrough.
