The artistic language of Diem Phung Thi - creativity and adaptation
HNN.VN - Inspired by the flexible modular system of sculptor Diem Phung Thi, and with deep respect and admiration for her talent and creativity, the artists have explored and created new works of art.

It was a story told through art organized by Hue Museum of Fine Arts under the theme “The Artistic Language of Diem Phung Thi - Creativity and Adaptation”, which opened on the afternoon of June 15 at Diem Phung Thi Art Center, No. 17 Le Loi Street, Thuan Hoa District.
The event was held to commemorate the 105th birthday anniversary of sculptor Diem Phung Thi (1920-2025).
The exhibition had the participation of 18 visual artists, along with more than 60 children from Hue.
The artists used appropriate techniques in line and space, combined with the arrangement of artistic language or the construction of visual structures that reflect the style of Diem Phung Thi in their works, or tell a new story within the context of contemporary society.
The 32 artworks and 5 jewelry collections on display embodied the continuation of that artistic flow, adding deeper meaning and contributing to the transmission and spreading of Diem Phung Thi’s art to the public through various forms such as painting, sculpture, graphic art, and videos.
Within this space, visitors also have the opportunity to admire original artworks and jewelry pieces by sculptor Diem Phung Thi.

As part of the exhibition program, there was also a showcase of Ao dai collections incorporating the art of Diem Phung Thi, which was held by Hue Museum of Fine Arts in collaboration with designer Viet Bao.
Ms. Dinh Thi Hoai Trai, Director of Hue Museum of Fine Arts shared: “Today’s generation will always cherish and honor the dedication and contributions of sculptor Diem Phung and will continue to preserve and promote her artistic legacy to the public and international friends”.
The exhibition opens for viewers until June 28.
