Built during the reign of Emperor Khai Dinh, Cuu Tu Dai was one of three famous royal theaters in Hue Imperial City (the other two being Duyet Thi Duong in the Imperial Citadel and Minh Khiem Duong at Emperor Tu Duc’s tomb).
