A performance in the closing ceremony
According to the organizing committee, during the festival days, comparing to the response festival in Hue Festival 2018, the number of tourist arrivals coming to the festival of this year witnessed an increase of over 20 thousands.
In this ‘Country’s fair in the festival’, tourists attending could enjoy, visit and experience various lively, hilarious and meaningful sports, cultural and art activities, as well as many folk games from Viet Bac, Dak Lak, Lao Cai art delegations, the young bands and from both local people and tourists.
“The country’s fair in the festival” was also an opportunity for tourists to join the activity of purchasing agricultural products, as well as the typical industrial and rural specialties of the localities; enjoying the beautiful scenes of the countryside, visiting national historical sites, enjoying rustic dishes; mixing themselves with the activity of re-enacting the daily life and agricultural production in the rural areas, at the same time enjoying the poetry citing, singing, chanting, performed by local people.
“In addition to the novelty, what impressed local people and tourists is the main stage of the festival which is designed on the surface of Nhu Y River, “The country’s fair in the festival” also plays well the role in promoting the typical products, and OCOP products of the province. The festival is a playground to converge, exchange, and connect the cultural activities between local people and tourists at home and abroad, thereby, creating the driving force for socio-economic development in general, and that of local community tourism in particular. And I do believe that in Hue Festival 2024, this response festival will get the better perfection,” shared Mrs. Ngo Thi Ai Huong, Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee of Huong Thuy Town.
