The country’s fair kicks off

TTH.VN - “The country’s fair and festivals – Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge” in 2022 officially kicked off in the morning of February 22, with various attractive offers. The opening ceremony had the attendance of provincial leader representatives and a large number of local people and tourists.

The festival takes place during February 21-25 at Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge, a community tourist destination in Thuy Thanh Commune, Huong Thuy Town, with various activities associated with the lifestyle of local people living in the outskirts of Hue city, including performances such as rice milling, rice pounding, cooking rice wine, making cakes, folk games, boat racing, food experiencing activities, Hue folk singing, and ao dai show, etc.

“The country fair and festivals – Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge” is a traditional cultural festival, contributing several times to the joint success of highly appreciated Hue Festivals and Hue Traditional Craft Festivals.

Mr. Tran Duy Viet, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Thuy Thanh Commune, said that the activity was to celebrate the announcement ceremony of Huong Thuy Town completion for the task of building the new-style rural area and receiving the Third-class Independence Medal. In addition to the honor and pride, this was also an opportunity to keep on preserving and enriching cultural identity, as well as introducing to friends and tourists near and far the beauty in the lifestyle and culture of people living in the countryside of Hue, those who are full of hospitality.
