Ribbon cutting to inaugurate the restoration work on Thanh Toan Tiled roof Bridge
Thanh Toan Tiled roof Bridge was built in 1776. It has wooden structures with the Thanh Luu Ly enamel tube roofing system, in the style of "Thượng gia, hạ kiều" (the top part is the house, and the lower part is the bridge). The bridge has undergone five restoration works.
The fifth restoration work commenced on April 1, 2020, and finished in early 2021, with a total funding of more than VND 10 billion. This work is approved by the Provincial People's Committee, and invested by the Management Board of Construction Investment in Huong Thuy Town.
During the restoration process, the related units had dismantled the whole structure, fortified the iron construction work, poured reinforced concrete for the foundation, and the bridge abutment, etc.
Immediately after the ribbon cutting to inaugurate the restoration work on Thanh Toan Tiled roof Bridge, the boat racing festival officially took place. The festival attracted a large number of locals and visitors to watch and cheer.
