Mega Booming lights up the heart of the Ancient Capital

On the evening of July 6, the Noon Gate Square - Hue Imperial Citadel came alive with the “Mega Booming - Hue 2025” grand music festival. Thousands of audiences, many of whom were young people, “burned” with music and light in a special artistic night within the heart of the heritage.

The event was organized by BamBoo Artists Agency (BAA), under the patronage of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Culture and Sports of the city, and Hue Monuments Conservation Center. With the message of connecting tradition and modernity, Mega Booming was not just an entertainment event, but also an activity to promote Hue's tourism and culture in a more youthful and dynamic manner.

In beautiful weather, the dazzlingly colorful stage of the music night welcomed the appearance of renowned artists, namely Isaac, Quoc Thien, Kay Tran, Quan A.P, Anh Tu, LyLy, Pham Anh Khoa, along with Quang Hung MasterD and Xuan Dinh K.Y - two representatives from Hue, and a series of other names such as DJ Huy Ngo, Shumo AG, Gemini Hung Huynh, and Akari Nakatani, etc., creating a diverse and vibrant musical space. The audience truly “burned”, truly satisfied, and exploded with energy. According to the Organizing Committee, Mega Booming is a “bridge between modern music and traditional cultural values, bringing a youthful, integrated Hue but still maintains its strong identity.”

It was the delicate interweaving of modernity and identity that created the program's unique appeal. At the show, alongside “hot” songs, rap, and ballads, etc., refreshed folk performances like “Ly ngua o Hue”, “Ly qua keu”, and “Ly qua deo”, etc., left a strong impression on the audience and viewers.

Sharing at the event, Nguyen Minh Tu (21 years old, from Quy Nhon) excitedly said: “This is my first time in Hue, and I am truly impressed with this magnificent music festival. The scenery of the Noon Gate combined with the sound and light is just amazing!”. Ms. Tran Thao Vy (from Ho Chi Minh City) commented: “Hue is much more younger now. The music night is not only visually stunning, but also inspiring about the renewal of the heritage land.”

With over 40 songs performed by the artists, combined with sound, light, and artistic visuals, the Mega Booming grand music festival offered an overwhelming experience for the audience and visitors.

For more than 4 hours, the performance area became a center of youthfulness and creativity, where music, emotions, and love for heritage blended together. Mega Booming delivered a spectacular music feast, contributing to introducing the image of Hue - not just as a city of culture and heritage, but also as a vibrant and attractive destination for younger generation.
