Local products on “Offerings of the Spring” procession

HNN.VN - Within the space to introduce typical products and local specialties of the Lunar New Year 2022 at Hue Imperial Citadel’s Night Streets, a procession of local products was organized to re-enact "Offerings of the Spring" by the Organizing Committee and Hue Monuments Conservation Center on the morning of January 26th.

The procession of local products called "Offerings of the Spring" into The Mieu Temple was to worship the Nguyen kings for Tet occasion. This re-enactment was hoped to create a beautiful image of local traditional customs and rituals to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

The procession lasted for 2 hours from 8:00 am on January 26 following a scheduled route from Le Huan street through Noon Gate and finally to The Mieu temple. 18 exhibitors at the typical Tet product display space were selected to attend the procession.

The number of visitors to Hue increase significantly during At Ty Tet holiday

According to the information announced on the night of January 31 by the Department of Tourism, in the 7-day period from January 25 to 31, 2025 (from the December 26 of the lunar Year of Giap Thin to the 3rd day of the Lunar New Year of At Ty), the number of tourists coming to Hue was estimated over 118,600 arrivals, witnessing an increase of 35% to the same period last year.
