This information was announced by Ms. Le Thuy Chi, Director of Ho Chi Minh Museum in Thua Thien Hue on May 8. The festival aims to celebrate the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023).

According to Ms. Chi, the festival will introduce to visitors the spiritual and material values of President Ho Chi Minh's heritage in Thua Thien Hue, including special national monuments. In addition, the aim is to build the festival into a unique cultural product, contributing to the connection between the monuments and the community, as well as raising the community's awareness in preserving and promoting heritage values, and at the same time being associated with tourism development.

There are many activities due to take place within the three days of the festival, which will be held at Duong No village communal house, and President Ho Chi Minh's Childhood Memorial in Duong No Village (Phu Duong Commune, Hue City). The activities include the festival's opening art program; lotus flower procession, flowers and incense offering; an art photo exhibition themed “The beauty of Ho Chi Minh’s Heritage”, a fine art exhibition themed “Vietnamese folk painting” along with experiencing activities in making paper lotus flowers, printing paintings, writing calligraphy, and experiencing the traditional cuisine of Duong No Village; and a traditional boat racing, etc.
