Excitement Builds at Hue Dancesport Festival 2026

HNN.VN - At noon on August 23, the 2nd Capital Cup-2026 - Hue Dancesport Festival officially kicked off at Aeon Mall Hue. As part of Hue Sports Festival 2026, the tournament was jointly held by Hue Talent Club, Hoang Sy Clubs, LTD Danang Recreational Sport Choreography Company Limited, and Aeon Mall Hue.

Gathering nearly 800 athletes from almost 50 clubs nationwide, including 15 from Hue, the two-day event (August 22 & 23) featured competitions across various disciplines: dancesport, artistic dance, folk dance, modern dance, Line Dance, Shuffle Dance, and Aerobic, with professional advisory from ‘Dancesport Queen’ Nguyen Khanh Thi.

With the participation of a large number of clubs, the tournament created a space for cultural and sports exchange between Hue and other provinces, contributing to promoting Hue as a dynamic and friendly city rich in cultural identity. It also offered visiting athletes, families, and tourists further opportunities to explore and experience Hue’s unique features.

According to Mr. Nguyen Long Quoc, Chairman of Hue Talent Club, under the theme ‘Shining with Passion - Moving Forward with Hue’, beyond providing a dynamic and healthy playground, the tournament was also held to connect the dancesport community, foster the development of this sport movement, and breathe new life into Dancesport in Hue.

The tournament concluded on the night of August 23.
