Artist Le Minh Phong’s painting exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City

The exhibition with the theme “Thiên Di” or "Towards the sky" is being held at Hakio Let's Art space (located in District 3, Ho chi minh city), by Hue-based artist Le Minh Phong.

Scheduled from December 3rd to 18th, the exhibition displays more than 50 large-format oil paintings, created during the three years of the pandemic.

With the theme “Towards the sky’, artist Le Minh Phong depicted characters in search of freedom, light, and an escape from slavery as well as those leaving the barren lands for more fertile regions in hope of better lives. And Phong painted the dreams of such people who made those transitions.

Le Minh Phong was born in 1985 in Ha Tinh province, but currently living in Hue. Over more than 10 years holding the brush, Le Minh Phong has held 3 solo exhibitions and many other joint exhibitions.
