HNN.VN - On the morning of September 4, the opening ceremonies of three major international events, including the 19th International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC), Export Conference 2025, and the event “Connecting International Goods Supply Chain” officially took place at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This is an opportunity for Hue tourism sector to stimulate, promote, and introduce local tourism images, at the same time providing its potential, tours, tourism products, and new tourism services to visitors; creating favorable condition for Hue businesses in particular and that of the three localities in general to meet, introduce, and sell their tourism products, sign agreements with other enterprises and travel agencies participating in the expo.

According to the organizing committee, the event had the attendance of various senior leaders of the Party and the State, together with nearly 700 domestic and international delegates. With the theme “Green Connection - Sustainable Development”, the event marked the first time that “three essential streams”, including tourism, trading, and international integration, were converged within a unified series of events, creating a strong overall boost for the economy.

In the framework of the series of events, there are also many other conferences, such as ITE HCMC High-level Tourism Forum - Season II of the 12th General Assembly of Tourism Promotion Organization for global cities in 2025; a workshop to provide feedbacks to the draft report summarizing the cooperation agreement on tourism development between Ho Chi Minh City and its partner regions for the 2021 - 2025 period; and Travel Conference 2025.

From early 2026, in addition to maintaining current ticket prices, Hue City will significantly expand the groups eligible for free and discounted entrance fees to heritage sites within the Hue Complex of Monuments. The move aims to facilitate access to heritage for residents and students, and to promote sustainable tourism demand.
