The "The Happy Land" exhibition is scheduled to take place at the French Institute in Hue from the afternoon of May 11th to June 10th. This is an activity jointly organized by the French Institute in Hue and Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted within the framework of French-Vietnamese cultural cooperation and the 50th anniversary of the establishment of French-Vietnamese diplomatic relations.

The exhibition introduces 52 works made by 40 10th-graders from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, under the guidance of the painter-teacher Nguyen Van Tan.

The works feature the joyful and happy lifestyle of the 10th graders of Quoc Hoc High School when they participate in experimental art creation activities at school. The works are created using many different techniques, ranging from easel paintings with watercolor, acrylic, and lead-charcoal drawings to black-and-white graphic prints.

The images, aesthetic symbols, and colors shown in the paintings partly offer the viewers a sense of familiarity with daily life.
