The Times Magazine of the UK has unveiled its list of Vietnam’s 11 most beautiful destinations in 2026, highlighting a diverse range of places, from vibrant urban centers and mountainous regions to coastal and island destinations and nature reserves. Hue is notably among the destinations featured on the list.

In his latest speech, Mr. Le Ngoc Tuan, Head of Hue City Forest Protection Department informed that the City People’s Committee has just decided to establish the Bac Hai Van Landscape Protection Zone, located in Chan May - Lang Co Commune.

“I study garden houses as a connection between Vietnamese art and culture and a deep connection with the land and spirit of Hue. Hidden cultural features still thrive in the values and identity of Hue today,” said Professor and Landscape Architect Kimberlee Stryker (University of California, Berkeley) in her “Listening to the Gardens of Hue, Vietnam” 25 years ago.
