"With our capacity and strengths as well as through researching, Banpu Group looks forward to cooperating with Thua Thien Hue province to invest in the development of energy resources in the province. Besides, we also want to invest in the project of biomass energy production for export," said Mr. Voravudhi Linananda, CEO of Banpu Group.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Cao highly appreciates the Banpu Group's research and desire to invest in energy development projects in Thua Thien Hue province. On the basis of the approved Energy Development Planning of the Vietnamese government and the assurance of environmental issues, Thua Thien Hue province has always supported Banpu Group to cooperate in investment, especially in the project of biomass energy production for export; as the province has a large plantation forest, which is a quite plentiful source of materials for this project, and Chan May deep-water port is also favorable for exporting goods.
