A Luoi people make unique culinary dishes to serve visitors |
According to the leader of the Department of Tourism, the potential for developing tourism in A Luoi is huge, with many tourism resources such as streams, waterfalls, beautiful natural landscapes, and favorable weather conditions. At the same time, this place preserves the unique cultural features of the ethnic minorities and attractive cuisine. The locality has focused on tourism models and has also connected travel agencies to exploit tour routes.
In its orientation for tourism market and product development, as well as destination development, Hue City has identified target markets associated with key product lines to be developed in the period of 2025 - 2030, such as cultural and heritage tourism (Hue Ancient Capital Monuments Complex System, intangible cultural values, and cultural institutions); culinary tourism; entertainment tourism (cultural industry, creative industry); resort and health care tourism; spiritual tourism; cruise tourism; traditional craft and craft village tourism; and ecological and community tourism (streams, waterfalls, lakes, mangrove forests, beach, agricultural ecology etc.). From this, A Luoi will also have many opportunities to invest in and develop tourism within the overall tourism picture of the whole city.
According to a representative from the Office of Tourism Planning and Development – the Department of Tourism, right from the “Spring Colors of A Luoi Highlands” festival, the local tourism industry has also increased support for communication, promotion, and introduction of A Luoi tourism. In addition, it will connect travel agencies to survey A Luoi tourism products to build tours, introduce them, and serve visitors. In particular, the idea of a festival with many activities held at various locations, spanning throughout the seasons and months of the year, including the Ethnic Minority Cultural Village of A Luoi District - the newest destination imbued with national cultural identity, is also an opportunity to introduce and promote the values.
In the long term, to maintain and develop A Luoi tourism in general, and the Ethnic Minority Cultural Village of A Luoi District in particular, in a stable and sustainable manner, it is necessary to connect, promote investment, and develop a variety of tourism products and accommodation options associated with cultural experiences, architecture, folk songs, folk music, folk dances, culinary experiences, as well as day and night tourism models in the mountainous region. This will contribute to supporting and connecting other tourist destinations in the district, so as to attract and retain visitors for longer stays, enhance the spiritual and cultural life, and improve the livelihoods and incomes of the local people.
