Photo and video contest of "Hue and the footsteps of discovery" launched

HNN.VN - The contest is part of the project “Hue is waiting for you”, with the purpose of promoting Hue tourism after the COVID-19 pandemic, spreading the beautiful images and cultural values ​​of Hue all over the country.

Specifically, from June 15 to August 15, visitors who are Vietnamese citizens, living and working in Vietnam and abroad, regardless of age, may submit the contest entries. The photos or videos are requested to record the check-in moments (with characters) at the monuments, famous landscapes, cuisines, and daily life in Hue, etc.

Particularly, the videos should be from one to two minutes long about beautiful scenery, destinations, tourist sites, discovery tours, constructions, people and landscapes of Hue.

The contest entries are to be posted on the Facebook fanpage "Visit Hue" by the contestants themselves. From there, the contestants will campaign for voting via likes, and sharing. The Organizing Committee will select the 20 contest entries with the highest number of likes to conduct judging according to the prize structure.

The total value of the prize is up to VND 60 million in cash, one round-trip air ticket voucher, and 2-night vouchers in a five-star hotel in Hue, etc.
