Launching the project “Hue is waiting for you”
HNN.VN - “Hue is waiting for you” is a project promoting the beauty, natural landscapes, as well as culture and cuisine of Hue to tourists nationwide which has just initiated by a group of youngsters living and studying in Hue.
This project was launched on the morning of June 12 at Mondial Hotel, Hue (17 Nguyen Hue, Hue City).

At the launching ceremony, Ngo Phuoc Tuan – one of the founder members of the project said that 2020 with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has made the Hue tourism sector suffer heavy losses. Accompanying the campaign “Vietnamese people travel in Vietnam” of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism, the group launched the project “Hue is waiting for you”, focusing on the theme: Hue Ancient Capital – New Experiences – Safe Destination.
The project has the participation of a great number of young people who are students of member universities of Hue University, together with the support of tourism, travel units, and businesses in the provincial area.
At the beginning of the project, there are many activities carried out from now to September 2 including calling for 10.000 personal Facebook accounts replace their avatar pictures with a frame of the project “Hue is waiting for you”, adding over 10.000 hashtags ‘#Hue is waiting for you’ on social media when updating check-in pictures in Hue, and giving 10.000 gifts to tourists when they travel to Hue, as well as organizing the photo exhibition “The tender Hue”.
Besides that, there will be the contests on posing photos and making videos related to Hue tourism with the prizes worth over VND 60 million; holding the conference “Promoting Hue tourism in the digital age”, and organizing the Festival of Young Travel Blog in Hue on the occasion of Hue Festival, etc.
