International visitors to Hue in the first 10 months surpasses those of entire 2017
HNN.VN - On November 1, the Department of Tourism informed that in the first 10 months of 2018, the total number of international visitors to Hue surpassed that of entire 2017.

Accordingly, in the first 10 months, the total number of visitors to Hue reached 3.7 million, up by 21 percent; in particular, international visitors were estimated at 1.55 million, up by 29.7% (which were 1.5 million in 2017). South Korea remains the largest tourism source market for Hue; the number of staying visitors was 1.72 million, an increase of 11.97%; the total revenue from tourism in the first 10 months reached VND 3,710 billion.
Particularly in October 2018, visitors to Hue reached 296,000, up by 1.1%; with international visitors were estimated at 135,000, up by 10.72%; staying visitors reached 155,000, up by 9.86%; the revenue from tourism in October was at VND 359 billion.
According to the leaders of the Department of Tourism, the goal of Hue tourism sector in 2018 is to attract 4 to 4.2 million visitors. By the end of October, there were 3.7 million visitor arrivals to Hue. In the two remaining months, Hue tourism sector will surely reach this number.
