Implementing the policy of mobilizing Hue women to wear Vietnamese traditional ao dai and to celebrate the Establishment Day of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20), the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has sent a dispatch to direct Hue Monuments Conservation Center to free 100% the fee of visiting Hue monuments for national and international women wearing Vietnamese traditional ao dai when visiting the monuments on October 20, 2019.

The Chairman requested the Hue Monuments Conservation Center to implement this idea and widely inform officials and people to participate.

Previously, with the desire to bring the image of Hue ao dai back to "Golden age", to enhance the beauty of Hue women, the province has launched a campaign to encourage women to wear traditional ao dai. On the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8), the province also had a policy of exempting 100% of the ticket fee from March 7-9, 2019 for national and international women wearing Vietnamese traditional ao dai when visiting Hue monuments.
