Connecting travel to Hue - a safe and hospitable destination

HNN.VN - That is the theme of Hue Tourism Forum 2020 which will be held in 2 days (from May 30 to 31, 2020) in Hue city. This is the event held by the People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue Province to recover and develop Thua Thien Hue tourism in the context of both boosting economic development and preventing COVID-19 pandemic effectively.

Accordingly, the forum aims to create a playground for travel businesses in and out of the province, as well as tourism experts and state management agencies to meet, exchange and offer solutions for the program of tourism recovery and development in an attempt to both promote economic development and prevent COVID-19 pandemic effectively.

Additionally, it also discusses and builds up the programs to connect Thua Thien Hue with adjacent localities, especially Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province to implement the tourism stimulus program connecting the Central Region, as well as connecting the major travel businesses countrywide with the businesses working in accommodation, destinations, and tourism services in the provincial area to respond to the implementation of the province’s stimulus program.

The Hue Tourism Forum 2020 will include 2 main activities including the conference to connect travel to Hue held on the morning of May 31, 2020 to assess the real situation of Thua Thien Hue tourism sector under the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic; issuing the plan to implement stimulus programs to recover and develop tourism sector; and announcing the solutions and support packages for local tourism businesses.

Additionally, there are also other programs such as introducing stimulus programs and policies, new tourism products, and new tourism and cultural events of Thua Thien Hue; announcing the chain of cultural events and festivals of the province in 2020, especially Hue Festival 2020. Announcing the project entitled One destination – Three safe and hospitable localities of Thua Thien Hue – Da Nang – Quang Nam for the rest of 2020.

The conference for developing tourism of the three localities (Thua Thien Hue – Da Nang – Quang Nam) will take place on the afternoon of May 30, 2020. At this conference, the localities will carry out the discussion to adjust the plan and operation contents, as well as coordinating to build up the promotion programs and products to stimulate tourism of the three localities in 2020.
